Fun & Creativity

Arts & Crafts

Art and crafts provide an important basis for a child's affinity for creative problem-solving, analytical skills and quick reasoning which form the basis for proficiency in other areas of education especially maths and sciences. This program is therefore the foundation of our curriculum.

Music & Dance

Renown storyteller Hans Christian Andersen said "Where words fail, music speaks". What better way to teach communication and literacy skills, than through rhymes and melodies.

Music and dance are core to every Ugandan traditional culture. For our school, it is like daily bread. We have added optional ballet classes and put on a dance performance for our parents every term.

Sports

Rather than a co-curriculum activity, sport is a core program at Young Talents Nursery School and Daycare for all our students. Activities like swimming, soccer, karate provide an every entertaining opportunity for the kids to learn from the outdoors, in our spacious compounds and with qualified instructors.

S.T.E.Ms

Alongside math concepts like shapes, colors, and numbers, our themed based learning takes children on an exciting S.T.E.Ms adventure at each level and develops problem-solving & critical-thinking skills.

Science, technology, engineering, math are priorities in higher education and we would like to give our kids the necessary boost.

Language

We emphasis reading, creative-writing, speaking and listening through structured programs such as the DEAR program, circle time, role play, and other activities.

Young Talents hosts an extensive library and resource center for reading materials. We also regularly host reading sessions with parents to encourage involvement in children's learning.

Sensory Play

Beyond the 5 senses, taste, smell, sight, sound and touch. Our sensory-play activities explore also internal senses, such as balance, position & movement. The children are provided with lots of toys and play material annd are encouraged to share and play together.

Outside Play

Our large outdoor space and well equipped playground provide your child with a safe & fun area to run, climb, swing, slide, jump as they develop their fine & gross motor skills

Swimming

We offer a child-friendly sized pool with a skilled instructor to help your child learn basic swimming techniques.
